Staking, on chain

Custody with a lock. Rewards are a separate switch.

Reading staking state

Waiting on the indexer API. This says nothing yet about whether staking is configured.

Stake

Staking is custody with a lock. Tokens move into a vault whose authority is your own stake position, and are held until the lock expires - then through a cooldown.

What staking does today

Custody. Everything else is a separate, unmade decision

A stake moves YUID into a vault the program controls on your behalf and records a lock. Until that lock expires - and, where one is configured, until a cooldown completes — `close_stake` refuses. That is the whole mechanism, and it is live.

There is no reward multiplier, no fee discount and no governance weight. The program has a `tier` field on every position and writes `0` into it, because what would weight it is an economic decision nobody has made. A page that listed those as benefits would be describing a protocol that does not exist yet.

Protocol staking over time

Not recorded — the current total is above

The indexer projects current state from events and keeps no daily rollup, so there is no history to chart. Total staked and the open position count are read live in the staking panel above.
